CLAIRE CORNEAL

I’m a material designer at Nike. I’ve worked across multiple footwear categories including Skate, Lifestyle, Sandals, Basketball, Running, Track and Field, American Football, Baseball and Golf. Material design involves designing, engineering, and curating materials for footwear. I have designed for Signature Nike athletes, collaborated with external brands, and set design direction for seasonal stories. My expertise is in leathers, synthetics, engineered textiles, knits/wovens, and componentry.

I graduated from VCUarts in 2015 with a BFA in Graphic Design. I have a personal practice where I play with different mediums and make experimental art books.
